UpCycled Bike Cog Suncatcher Super Eco-Friendly #5
Suncatcher made from an upcycled bike cog and 100% upcycled scrap polystyrene foam!
Ok, these little suncatchers are a BIG deal. These are the most eco-friendly pieces I’ve ever made. I start with scrap bike cogs (upcycling). Then, instead of new polystyrene plastic like my traditional suncatchers, I use only scrap EPS and XPS (styrofoam) dissolved in biodegradable solvent! No new materials are used, human styrofoam waste is reduced, and I can make these with essentially zero electricity because I use sunlight for the process! It’s an environmental win in a pretty little window decoration. And since I donate 75% of my profits to charity, this is a win-win-win situation! Art with a clear conscience. This is the “First Edition” of this line, so get them now before I become too famous 🙂
Made from an upcycled bicycle cog. The colors are polystyrene plastic, not glass, so they are lightweight and much less likely to shatter should they ever fall. Make great gifts for your cyclist friends, or for yourself! Includes suction cup. Measures about 2.5″ diameter.
